I came here because of “Foster” and enjoyed them both as much as each other. Claire Keegan is a very talented writer and the narrator did a wonderful job. I would recommend this book/recording easily.

She writes with no wastage so it takes no time to be drawn in. Furlong is a gentle and pensive character and it’s this, in contrast to the atrocities being committed in the name of God, that makes this story really work.

Love Claire Keegan’s writing
