Publisher's Summary

The debut audiobook from podcaster, musician and Ireland's foremost satirist Blindboy Boatclub.

Small Bones in a Fist is composed of stories drawn from Blindboy's first two published books: The Gospel According to Blindboy and Boulevard Wren and Other Stories.

Curated, narrated and scored by the author, Small Bones in a Fist is a surreal, provocative and darkly funny introduction to one of the most original voices in Irish literature.

The collection includes the story Did You Hear About Erskine Fogarty? which has been adapted for Irish television starring Misfists actor Robert Sheehan.

An imaginative explosion

I really enjoyed this book, the accompanying sound scapes aided my immersion into Blindboy’s quirky universe.

Wow

I can to this book off the back of the Blindboy podcast which I really like.
To me, there is no way absorbing these stories without the authors voice and score would in anyway give the full impact of the stories.
The stories are strangely unique with a beautiful modern darkness written in a style unlike anything else. I cannot wait for future instalments.

A sublime mix.

This collection is a sublime mix of absurdity and, scarily enough, visceral reality. Beautifully delivered by Blindboy. I love the episodic nature of these short stories, which have a distinctive quality of voice and perspective.
