Beautiful
Thank you Mary Balogh for a great series and Rosalyn Landon for your great narrating.
I am thoroughly enjoying the series they are witty and a beautiful story line.

Entertaining storyline
A very entertaining period romance with a difference, I prefer the stories that give women a voice rather than just being love struck puppets. Great narration. Highly recommend .

Enjoyable
I enjoyed this book 3 in the series. Some things I found a bit tedious, Josh calling Freya sweetheart all the time and the winking, it just made him seem a little creepy and it didn’t fit into that regency time frame. Little bit of everything, fun, drama, romance and the usual villainous character. I enjoyed the new characters in this book.

Hurrahs for Freya & Joshua.
I searched for & listened to Freya’s story out of sequence with the other “Slightly” stories because I was intrigued by the glimpses of her character in some of the other “Slightlys”
She stood out as a determinedly forthright young woman amongst her family and peers with a strength that is still in the 21st Century often seen as inappropriate. She came into full light as a woman who would champion the rights of the downtrodden without promoting herself as such. Hurrah for Freya.

Good story horrible character
I really like these books and all the characters but Freya is a complete ar*sehole. I can’t stand her! And she is a domestic abuser. If Josh punched her the way she punched everyone it would be totally unacceptable. Awful personality

I love the way Mary writes. The dialogue is flawless and I love the banter between Joshua and Fra .Thank you for this beautifully written series

Loved it!!!
Absolutely loved this book. It had me on the edge of my seat and it also had me laughing. Can't wait to see what the next book brings or what other suspenful things it comes up with. Narrator Rosalyn Landor again amazing with each character.
