Awesome series!

This awesome and interesting story of two marines, who fell into a D&D game style world, continues as they level up and make break throughs to expert level, and a changes of thought processes. Along with all their subsidiary characters, and new ventures and quests.
I did find the change of narrator distracting, as I was used to certain voices for characters, however by the end I was sucked back into the world and am looking forward to future books!

Amazing series

This is an amazing world, with a story that really draws you in. There are great laughs and great tension.

The narrator changed this book which is never ideal, but the new narrator has done an amazing job, and is much better with inflection.

Highly recommend this book, and the entire series. I stopped in the middle of another book when this one came out because I could not wait to listen.

not bad, but half the value

making this half the length and swapping to a worse narrator makes this book feel like a money grab.

think of how much better physical version would look with 10 equally sized books in a collection...

required some adjustment

first off, not hearing Todd narrating is jarring and takes some time to adjust.

other wiser, I feel the audio and narrating quality is improved, the story feels different which may or may not be good but otherwise, once you get used to it, it's still a good story.

Just disappointing that it's a 2 parter. part 2 better be fantastic mr Chatfeild.

side note, now im curious about a full 10 realms series narrated by this narrator. it may even be an improvement once he hits his stride

This narrator suck

The book volume was too low compare to the other books, the narrator sounds dead inside and irritated when reading the character stats. The voice for different character was horrible and hard to distinguish.

More fleshed out

The story is more fleshed out than the previous books, which makes for a fun listen. The tasks the Alvans are trying to achieve provide a big story. The narrator has changed, which has hurt the audible version. As a litrpg, I like the different tone of voice for the interface with the previous narrator. The lack of accents and tone of voice with the characters can make it difficult to identify which one is talking. When characters are talking, the narrator speaks loud and clear, but talks quieter when telling the non-speaking part of the story. This makes it difficult to hear while other noises are around, such as when driving.

Another solid book in the series

The new narrator threw me a bit at the start, but it’s worth giving him a crack! Another solid book in the series.
