About this listen
When city naturopath Rilee Summers meets gorgeous farmer Dan Kincaid, a whirlwind romance follows, and the next thing she knows she's married and living on her husband's family property in a small rural community. But Rilee's city ways and new naturopathy practice, and her outspoken views on teen pregnancies, only serve to alienate her from the deeply conservative townsfolk and her in-laws. She is determined to stand up for her convictions but worn down by the ill will towards her - as well as by what she sees as Dan's lack of support. Can her marriage survive?

Fantastic story
I really enjoyed this story of Rilee and Dan. I enjoyed reading about some of the problems faced by small country towns and the fight to change attitudes.

good story but felt they cut the ending off..
I loved the story and the characters but I felt the book was unfinished when it ended..
it left me wanting more of an ending.. I'm not sure what but the way it ended just suddenly seemed cut short.
other the that I loved the book but wish the ending had been better.

I'm loving Karly Lane's books
This is my second Karly Lane book and I'm really enjoying her style of writing. Easy to listen to or read stories that don't challenge you're mind at all but are still interesting enough to keep you going until the end. Relaxing books I would say, great for if you just want to pop out of you're own life for a while. The only problem I had with this one was the Narrator. She sounded like a news reader with very little emotion and a very monotonous tone. The Narrator for "Someone like you" was lovely, easy to listen to and made the story more enjoyable. I think if this one was read by the same person I would have been able to picture the story much better, I really struggled at times to keep listening, glad I did though. Just needed a better Narrator to do the story the justice it deserves.

Six ways to Sunday.
Karly Lane is an absolutely brilliant Australian writer, I was captivated from the first line..Karly manages to combine wonderfully interesting rural romance stories with very relevant real life rural issues and community struggles, strengths and challenges that gently develop a level of understanding that is seriously needed towards bridging the Rural - City divide. Perfectly written and well narrated. Thank you for journey .
