About this listen

Sam, a sin eater, is asked to absolve the sins of Rebel Walker, a deceased billionaire infected with a lifetime of evil. Now Reb's corpse has vanished with Sam being the last to see it. But who'd snatch it and why? The dead can't get up and walk out.

Or can they?

Drawn into a labyrinth of murder, mystery, and pure horror, Sam battles supernatural forces - all while pursuing the mysterious new girl at school.

It's Supernatural meets Dorian Gray in this stand-alone Bleed novel.

A revenge story without the revenge

This is really a listen once and leave it alone series. It takes place after the events of the first. It's summer holidays and there is mischief about.
The book follows the sin eater Sam and focuses on his story. The main problem is that Sam seems to have a slight case of idiocy. Despite not knowing the villain or the antagonist doing something to him personally, Sam takes Punisher route in that he hunts down the bad guy without a real motive other then he is a bad guy.
While the ending might be rewarding to some people I felt that it was a bit of a let down compared to the first novel.
