About this listen
The fourth book in the Amazon charts best-selling series by Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author, K.F. Breene.
Kieran has stepped up to take his place as the ruler of magical San Francisco. As his girlfriend I'm in the spotlight, and the Hades Demigods have taken notice. They want me on their team, and they don’t plan on asking nicely.
Kieran and I are both under fire. They will kill him to get to me, and they'll take me by force if necessary. It is essential I learn more of my magic.
With no other options, I do what scares me the most - I summon the last Spirit Walker to help train me. Except, he's a loose cannon with looser morals, and learning spirit is treacherous. I might evade the Demigods only to be lost in spirit forever.

Emotional Ride
‘Sin & Spirit’ is book four in K.F. Breene’s Demigods of San Francisco series. This is continues on from ‘Sin & Salvation’. This book is told in multiple POVs, Alexis, Kieran, Daisy, Bria and Magnus.
Valens is gone, Kieran got his vengeance for his mother, the threat that Valens portrayed is no more. Valens may be gone but the threat to Alexis, her wards and Kieran is only just getting started. The Hades Demigods know about Alexis and her powers as a Spirit Walker and they are going to do whatever it takes to get her.
Firstly, No, No, NO!!! I am not ok, absolutely not ok with events that took place in this book. Why, oh why did you have to go and do that to my heart Ms Breene? That was cruel, evil and so so mean... 😭
This book has gone and absolutely destroyed my heart, it has been ripped out of my chest, squeezed, trampled on and shattered. I don’t even know where to begin to start putting it together.
Just like the other books in the series be prepared for one hell of a ride, twists and turns, surprises, angst, shocking revelations, unpredictability, awe and swoon moments. But bonus to pick you up off the floor the hot and steamy scenes with Kieran and Alexis.
I have no idea where to start or wait to say that can honestly do this book any justice, I feel as this book has been the most enjoyable and highly addictive one thus far. The overall experience of reading it can not be expressed with words.
The “family” we have all come to love continue to stick together and grow stronger as a unit. A new character is introduced and he is something else...
This book will surely mess with you emotions, but if you stick it through, I promise you we enjoy it, hopefully as much as I have. But maybe have some tissues and chocolates near by.
I can’t wait to see what is next for this bunch, looking forward to reading ‘Sin & Lightning’.

another great addition to series.
Fun and well thought through storylines that are taken to the next level by fantastic narration. I really do enjoy the byplay between the characters the most, but this one had more action than that and character development. still enjoyed it though and will definitely be checking out the next one.

3.8 ⭐️
While I was excited to find out what happens after for Kieran and Lexi, when I started this book I found a few topics that frustrate me. So it was definitely a slower read than the first three. I did also download the audible in hoping that would help remove the frustration but it created a new one instead.
Otherwise, there’s new threats to consider. Kieran still isn’t as open as he should be. It kinda felt like the Six were finding ways to distract Lexi and she never came back to get the question answered. Lexi is growing with her magic but is starting to realise she doesn’t have as much time with kids but then she gets distracted by something else. I’m still curious how this will all pan out.
The narrator was good but there’s no Chapter headings so you don’t know whose POV you’re listening to, and when there’s a few extras in this book, it made it hard to comprehend.
