Steamy & Entertaining
‘Sin & Lightning’ is book five in K.F. Breene’s Demigods of San Francisco series. This is continues on from ‘Sin & Spirit’. This book is told in multiple POVs, Alexis, Kieran and Dylan.
With a request from Harding, Alexis and Kieran must gang alliances and grow their elite if there is any chance of keeping everyone safe and protected. The Hades Demigods want Alexis for her power, and with the upcoming Summit Kieran is being questioned. Making alliances and gaining trust with other Magicals isn’t going to be easy and it’s going to take everyone working together to succeed.
This book has lots of ups and downs, twists and turns, all wrapped up in mystery and surprises. There is many positives to say and praise in this book. I love the characters so freaking much, each one of them bring something unique to the story. Their quirkiness, humour, strength and family values are so exceptional and a wonderful things to witness. The storyline with all its drama, angst, mystery, secrets and steam will have you turning each page with anticipation.
From the beginning Alexis has been thrown in to one problem after another, as long as she is with Kieran and the Six with a few extra additions they are stronger together and will come out of it ok.
I can’t wait to see how things are going to work out for everyone.

Nasty Lydia!
Whew this one was a long one and I’m struggling to remember where this book started within the story and where the last one finished.
We get to meet a Thunderbolt and 2 Demigods - Flora and Lydia, in this book with the introduction of Magnus at the end.
There’s not much more growing for Lexi and Kieran here, it’s more about acquiring more people for their team. I’m grateful that we get other people’s POV- especially Daisy. We’re also starting to get some answers to those questions from the beginning.
The narrator is still doing a fine job when I can’t have the book in my hands and the chapter titles are back, which helps with the many people involved.

F##k I love Breen's world💓💓💓
I am halfway through listening to this book and have already cried, laughed and nearly fainted holding my breath in suspense🥴🥴🥴I get it, it's a made up world but Breene presents it in a way that gets you emotionally invested🧐Again, kudos to the narrator🥳

Another great addition
While I don't think it quite hits the heights of first three, still a great addition to series intaking us on Lexie's journey and that of the team. Brilliantly narrated, and really enjoy the humour, so well delivered by narrator. looking forward to reading final book. Hope she eventually writes separate stories for the kids!
