About this listen
Editorial reviews
Kruger National Park in north-western South Africa is the beautiful and explosive setting for Silent Predator, Tony Park’s thriller of kidnapping and exotic adventure. Australian actor Mark Davis provides the swarthy voice that carries the listener through the big game park all the way to the dangerous waters of Mozambique. Park, who in real life maintains a tent with his wife in the Kruger, knows his territory well.
The story focuses on Detective Sergeant Tom Furey and his high-stakes search for a kidnapped government official. He is joined in the hunt by Sannie van Rensburg, a sexy and driven inspector who is drawn to Furey with a fury. Together, Sanni and Tom must fight predators from the human to the reptilian and more.

Silent Predator
Great book made very real as we have been to South Africa and visited some of the places named in the book. I’m looking forward to listening to more of his books

Overall Good Book
the negative first - Narrator cannot pronounce Native African and Afrikaans words - Frustrating. But otherwise good performance.
Sex scenes too graphic and too many - not needed if story line is strong.
Boy gets Girl ending every book so far.. in real life Africa the good people and hero’s die.
Now the positive - absolutely fantastic reading a book about Africa. The places and antidotes bring back memories and experiences I had forgotten. The books so far capture the fact that in Africa you Live Life - and live 5 lifetimes of a city dwelling computer geek.
The story’s have twists and turns that I really did not expect.
Overall Great Books so far - Well Done and I will read the rest ASAP

Cracking pace from go to wo.
Another great book from a writer who really knows his stuff.
Fast paced and full of action.
Really good characters that are completely plausible and Tony keeps you guessing the whole way through.
I started off reading the book but being time poor listened from halfway on Audio Book wanting to get stuck in traffic just to listen to more.
Can't wait to get into The Hunter.

A good story
Although I liked the story, I found the pronunciation of some words annoyingly wrong and noticed that the South African characters were read in one tone of voice which a bit boring to listen to.
