I'm way behind with discovering cindy

2008! holy cow where have I been 🤤
I've seen reviews of this book and more good than bad. I guess it has to be your individual taste that makes you gush over the novel. well I'm gushing....I love the mix of Romance and action. even though there was more action but it was great angst. we even got 2 romances in this one.
I'm glad I read book 6 of the bodyguard series to get the right feel of the character Gabe. the backstory helps even though you get a summary in this book...but the personality of the hero is what you need so you don't judge him. he's hard as nails and Ms Gerard had to find some give from somewhere and in this plot she chose the heroine.
I'm giving a 4 star to the narrator being as much as i liked his male voice I did not take to some of his female voices. J F Harding I've listened to plenty of times, however the female voice depiction..( not all of them mind you) ....nope.
