About this listen
Ship? Destroyed.
Core? Inactive.
Friends and family? Unavailable.
Alex faces the consequences of her choices on a ship full of strangers. Forced to confront a civilization built on the regulation of her kind, she has to learn and adapt to situations she never imagined. Some see her as the key to breaking a decades-old stalemate, others as a threat that will ignite the fires of war once more.
But all Alex wants is her sister and NAI companion back.
Meanwhile, Starlight Revolution must manage the aftermath as best they can to rebuild, repurposing available resources while reaffirming their status as a budding system power fit to endure both military and corporate interests. And hopefully keep their status as possessors and producers of regulated, mostly illegal technologies from getting too many people killed or worse… Hope and trust. The foundation of all enterprise. No more daunting a task than to rise again, foundation cracked.

it's still a good story but it's organisation is poor
This book's main character story is about self improvement personally and world building while the sub cores have the adventures. Which ant bad but the fact the chapters aren't well organized to follow one sub-cores or main character just incase you want skip chapters like I do that don't involve the main character and then come back and listen to the others. Is this book as good as two... no. Is it a filler and a build up for book four final. Will I get book 4? probably not the character jumps mid chapters to like 3 times a chapter ruined the momentum for me and the main character hasn't grown much personally in the time frame of book 3. She still feels like a child that didn't grow in boot camp nor leadership. Other characters were introduced to cover these short falls instead of the main Character growing to fill them and be more what she is meant to become.
