After their safe return to Texas, both Trigger and Gillian are excited to find out if their instant chemistry can survive the real world. Neither realizing that someone isn’t happy with the outcome of the hijacking, and is watching, waiting, for a second chance to strike.
Shielding Gillian is the first book in the Delta Team Two series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

Trigger's Gillian
WOW what a great start to this series. Two very different people come together to form a strong team. Head clashes, finding boundaries as they move forward from high stress events. watching them become a strong couple. Love this story.

WOW
I came across this book/series by accident and all I can say is THANK THE AUDIBLE GODS!!! I couldn’t help myself and listened to it in 1 day, I adore Gillian and Walker’s story.
A brilliant storyline that kept me engrossed.

hmmmmm
I normally sink into Susan stoker.....but this one is opposite to most of her others, her plots are 80% military action, angst and suspense and 20% is romance.
but this is 20% action etc and 80% romance.!!
it was very slow and I struggled with the simplicity of an alpha dating a mixture of a woman...smart but naive????? I'm a sassy kinda heroine listener.
I loved her 1st delta team series, mountain mercenaries series along with her Texas ranger series, she brings out what the average person presumes to be a problem in an individual and turns it into a strength that pulls the pace and plot together nicely.
this book however, lacks the punch I normally get from Ms Stoker in the middle and might I say, the end....the opening was awesome.
if you don't mind slowing down your story pace and enjoy a rolling into romance slowly but surely then away you go.
I do think that the alpha males respect thing was a bit overstretched but Ms Stoker made this steam scene one if the best I've read....😉😉

A good story with some action and no shortage of drama. Alpha hero and a heroine who was stronger than she thought.

Susan Stoker Did It Again
Another great book by Susan Stoker filled with action, romance and suspense. l loved this book absolutely amazing and made my two days stuck at home well worth it.
