ثمَّة أشياء غامضة كانت تحدث في المنزل، أشياء تعذب القلب وتدمر ما تبقى منه، وهو اختار أن يبقى ما بين الموت والحياة للتلصص عليها علَّها تتراجع عن قرارها، فتهدأ حوائج الروح والرغبة، وما أكثرها من احتياجات..

.. لكنَّ الحقيقة باقية وقوية : الموتُ لا يكون فقط عندما تنّدسُّ أنفاسنا أسفل القبور

بل الموت .. هو عدم شعورنا بالحياة ونحنُ على قيّدِها ننبض ..
