Publisher's Summary
A mission gone horribly wrong. A vicious killer who will stop at nothing. Two women on the run for their very lives.
After 9/11, an experimental branch of the US government has been tasked with the mission of proactively putting a stop to terrorism. They have sent a team to eliminate a financier responsible for funding the worst of these organizations. Everything is going according to plan.
Until it's not.
The team is ambushed, and when the mission is looking its darkest, it goes from bad to worse. Former Marine scout sniper Seven Michelis is an injured black ops sharpshooter and she's on the run for her life. Peace Corps volunteer Dr. Jenny MacKenzie defies good sense and sets out to help a stranger in need. What she finds is something else entirely.
From the rugged foothills of the Andes through the dense forests of the Amazon river basin, Seven and Jenny fight to survive the perils of being hunted through Bolivia by a killer hell-bent on homicide. Who can they trust, and what fresh hell awaits them if and when they make it home? Will they survive long enough to explore their growing attraction?

Very enjoyable
This is the first book from this author and a really great one at that. It has great characters, action packed and a wonderful romance, what more could you want? One of the US reviews suggested this novel contained no sex, this is very much not the case, it occurs on several occasions and it reads in a very tasteful way unlike some of the other lesbian ‘romances’ which feel far more like erotic fiction which is very much Not! what I am after. I very much want an interesting and exciting story with the romance being highlighted and this book by Leslie Murray very much offers this. I look forward to reading/listening to more novels by this author.
In regards to the narrator, on the whole she does quite a good job, her tone is clear and her speed very much keep the excitement in the story. The only criticism I offer is that there is very little difference between characters and in reading the story there is literally zero pause or separation between changing scenes and character voices which can be slightly confusing when characters switch.

Great read. Couldn’t stop listening.
The story is captivating and compelling. .Narrater good, sometimes couldn’t tell which character was speaking and no gap between the different sides of the story within each chapter which made you feel you had missed something each time.
Well worth purchasing!!
