About this listen
In Book Two, Psychic Liam Baker and Detective Kimball Thompson have embarked on a romantic relationship after battling the deadly and powerful psychic, Steven Pine, months ago. They ended his brutal killing spree of young male prostitutes, and he’s safely in jail.
But when someone starts murdering young college girls, some disturbing clues seem to lead back to Steven Pine. But he’s locked up and awaiting trial. There’s no possible way he could be involved in the new murders.
Yet Liam can’t shake the chilling feeling that Pine has somehow figured out a way to reach out from his jail cell to continue murdering innocent victims.
This 50,000 word MM romance mystery is the second book in my Psychic Detective Mysteries series. You will want to hear book one, Shadow's Edge, first.

A lot to love about this!
With deadly psychic Steven Pine now in jail awaiting trial, Det Kimball Thompson and psychic Liam Baker have little time to breath before someone starts to murder a series of college girls associated with a suicide support group. Although Pine can’t be responsible, Liam is unnerved by links between the two killers. Meanwhile, Liam and Thompson are still smoothing out some of the bumps in their nascent relationship and Liam should never drink again! There’s a lot to love about this: Liam and Thompson’s fractious yet fond relationship is gathering pace; the police-procedural / supernatural case is mysterious and interesting; and arch nemesis Pine casts a chilling shadow over everything, even when he’s not actually present - hence the book titles, I suppose! I’ve listened to audio narrator Kale Williams narrate other books and series, but I think he really shines in this series.
