About this listen
Some secrets are better kept.
To Raegan Keyes, she's the only one of her kind, but has no idea what she is, until the night she finds out her unexplainable abilities aren't the only thing she needs to worry about. Suddenly, her world becomes much bigger than she ever could have dreamed.
When a mysterious man named Enzo arrives, too striking to be human, Raegan learns she's not as alone as she had believed. As more secrets are revealed, she's swept off to an academy for others like her thousands of miles away from home by a complete stranger whom she'd rather stab than travel with.
As tension builds between Raegan and Enzo, she begins to find her purpose as she settles into her new existence alongside elves, witches, vampires, and shifters. With a group of new friends, she's finally feeling alive again. That is until something sinister comes along, once more throwing her life into mayhem.

Great series, interesting world and characters
Loved this world and series, Enzo, like many a love interest in these types of books, has huge red flags that I had to force myself to look beyond but hope such possessive, aggressive and at times chauvinistic behaviour wouldn’t ever really be accepted by any strong female. The narration up until Chapter 6 of book 3 was excellent but why would a new narrator be introduced in the middle of the series and in the third book no less, when the voice for the characters has already been established by the one narrator? Or did this just occur in the box set? Either way, this really spoilt the flow of the final book for me and I would otherwise have given 5 stars

RUINED
I WAS really enjoying this audiobook, its a really different and enjoyable story and it's filled with Many really likeable characters that were brought to life by fantastic narration. BUT less than halfway through book two, I had to stop listening. It was building up but at chapter 10 I just couldn't stand it anymore. I was getting so darn peed off at Enzo, I was really wanting to punch my monitor looking through other reviews, searching to see if others felt the same. For me, Enzo completely spoiled the series, I couldn't put up with the frustration caused by his behaviour. I wish he was left behind with book 1.
