Enjoyable ride and start of a series
I've enjoyed some other titles in the Arcane Underground world and wanted to experience the author's 1st stories of his universe. I wasn't disappointed, I may not be the smartest but I didn't find it predictable and enjoyed the ride of a foodie figuring out their place in a dark but magical situation. Looking forward to the sequels

Shadowjack
I think that I will enjoy this series. The narrator breaths such life into his work that it enhances the work of the author a hundredfold. The cast of characters are interesting as is the universe created for it. An excellent listen, well worth obtaining.

A great read
A good story, very well written expends on the world he has already created.
I’m happy that there’s another six box for me to go through.
