Publisher's Summary
Rogue agent Ryan Drake faces deep regrets and only the slimmest shot at redemption....
Ryan Drake is incarcerated at a Black Site in an unknown location. Bruised, naked and freezing on the floor, he has nothing left. His plot to assassinate the treacherous Marcus Cain - the deputy director of the CIA - failed, and now Drake must face the consequences. But Cain needs information even more than he wants to take Drake’s life. The whereabouts of the mysterious Anya are unknown, and so she remains a threat, both to herself, and to Cain’s ruthless ambitions at Langley and beyond. He knows she’ll give everything to get Drake free, but can he know what - or rather who - she’s ready to take?

Can't wait for the next one. Well written with twists in it that are unpredictable as ever.

Dumb and dumber
Sorry but I can’t finish the series. This is an espionage equivalent of dumb and dumber. Well read but five books too many.

Very good
The same gnarly characters but in much more complex story line It almost reads like a film script ? Oops did I say the wrong thing ? How about Clooney as Cain , Uma Thurman as Anya ,Daniel Craig of course Daniel Craig as our all round pommie tough guy lead
Just saying !

Irresistible
Jordan goes from strength to strength. the cliffhanger at the end of the previous installment had me desperate to get into this book, and once I'd started I couldn't stop. maybe my favourite so far in the series, the book was tense and fast paced faced from start to finish.
Jordan's real talent lies in his ability to craft these beautiful, multilayered characters that keep you on your toes; not just complex, but very likable and mostly sympathetic, who's motivations make sense and drive the narrative; and in his ability to peel back the layers with each new story constantly shifting the line between good and evil.

weakest one yet
this series is bad and getting worse. the author is clutching at story lines and doing poor if not nil research. it may keep your interest, but is also likely to irritate and frustrate. don't expect much from this one.
