About this listen
Discover how to help your child build the foundations of becoming a respected, successful, and wonderful adult in the future.
Do you find parenting to be the most difficult role you’ve ever had to take on, often getting overwhelmed by all the things you have to get done throughout the day?
Are you worried about the future and want your child to grow into a well-rounded, self-sufficient adult?
Are you looking for ways to improve your relationship with your child so you can grow an unbreakable bond?
Don’t worry, no one is telling you that you need to be the perfect parent. There is no formula that will tell you how to be the “perfect” parent. If there were, it would be plastered onto every parenting blog out there by now.
Sometimes, it’s not about being “the best”, but it’s about giving your child the right environment to grow and thrive in. Strengthening your relationship can open a world of happiness for the entire family. They look up to you, turn to you when they feel sad or confused, and admire you for everything you have been through - even if it doesn’t seem like it now. Children learn about the world through the eyes of their parents in the beginning but will experience it in a whole new way when they finally leave the nest.
And it’s your job as the progressive parent to let your child be who they want to be. You need to be an honest parent, a communicative parent, and give them a shoulder to cry on when they need it.
It’s time to open up your relationship with your child and nurture the person they are going to grow up to be.
If you’re still feeling doubtful, just remember that you are not alone in this. No parent can do everything. You’re only human, and keep in mind that your child is only human, too. They get frustrated just like you; they get scared just like you; and they get confused just like you. Experience these things together, be the parent they need you to be, and give them the tools they need to thrive.
