Most people agree that Jesus Christ was/is the most influential, history-impacting person who has ever lived. The very dating system of the world attests to this fact and even the congress of the United States uses "the year of our Lord" as the phrase added to the date in which bills are passed by them.
According to the Holy Bible, Jesus is much more than a man - he is in fact the personification of God and he existed with the Heavenly Father before becoming a man, born of woman by conception of the Holy Spirit.
