Great adventure action thriller
Have been meaning to read thia for years and glad I did. I hope this novel is made into a film!
Non stop action from start to end, great team of characters and intriguing plot. Ancient wonders and modern weaponry. Awesome.
Writing a bit repetitive at times, with 'pyramid' or 'obelisk' often appearing twice in a sentence or numerous times per passage.
Narrator did a great job with the fast paced and action filled scenes. Also an international host of characters with different accents. Only a few times did the ex SAS Aussie protagonist sound American.

My first Audio Novel - 100/100!
I've been wanting to read this book for years, but just never got around to it. I'm a big fan of the Jack Reacher novels so was looking for another hero to follow. By getting the audio book it made it more accessible for me, and allowed me to take in the story in a somewhat slower pace. This meant that Reilly's vivid descriptions of the scenes really took hold, and I could really picture Jack and his team during each mission.
I absolutely loved it and I've already downloaded Six Sacred Stones and can't wait to dive in !

Another Matthew Reilly great
Just finished listening to Matthew Reilly series ‘Scarecrow’ and was blown away with it and looked for more Matthew Reilly series and came across Jack Wes Jnr and again he has blown me away with action and excitement and love how Jack West Jnr is Australian. Well done Matthew Reilly!!!

Good story
Enjoyed the story line, and liked the characters a lot. This book was thankfully light on swearing, not non existent, but lighter than other MR books I’ve read. Appreciate that Matthew!. I’d like this one to make it on to the screen too.

Got me reading again
Matthew Reilly writes in such a way you can see things vividly and don’t want to put the book down. After years of study it was Contest that got me reading again and I have loved everything MR has written since. To now hear it read to me each evening brings back the enjoyment and desire to delve into new adventures

Not the biggest fan of Sean Mangan But Reilly!!
Not the biggest fan of Sean Mangan's audio performance, just doesn't sit right. But I'm hoping he will grow on me because Reilly's books kick ass.
