Profound & Saintly

There’s just something different about the work of the Saints, and this collection of sermons of St Philaret of Moscow is no different. These homilies encourage us to forego the trappings of this temporal life and to set our gazes higher upon the priceless and eternal. St Philaret’s biblical understanding is profound and effortless, yet his explanations and instruction are simple and actionable (though not easy). And all of this in Fr Josiah Trenham’s calm and steady narration. Highly recommend to anyone looking to deepen their spiritual life and understanding or those wanting to see what the Orthodox faith looks like through some of its most faithful sermons.

A must listen for all Orthodox Christians
