About this listen
You've just written a book - a masterpiece, the next great classic, the single piece of literature that's going to be required reading 100 years from now, long after you're good and dead and most of mankind has been replaced by robots.
But...now what?
Can you afford an editor? How do you decide on a good one? And how much of it can you do by yourself?
- Grammar
- Style
- Syntax
- Plot development
- Proofreading
- Formatting
- And, more importantly, cost-saving methods
Self-Editing on a Penny was created by an independent author for independent authors. Don't make the same costly mistakes I've made. Self-edit first.

So helpful while editing
The best 2 hours spent. A lot of great hints and information. Even though I knew of and was aware of a or on the writing craft and grammar elements, the content and context of this book was extremely helpful. It provide easy and understandable ways to implement these elements whilst editing. I came away with copious notes to be aware of as I edit. I would recommend this book to anyone who is new to the editing process or wants to become better at it. I loved it so much, that I wanted to refer to it often so I also purchased the Ebook- I will be referring to this book a lot.
