Publisher's Summary
I’m starting over.
Moving to a new town to start college, where I can try to be normal. Or at least pretend I am.
I’m willing to fake it, because I’m tired of trying to get better. Tired of spilling my guts to doctors and therapists to understand why I’ve heard voices since I was a child.
The meds are working...for now, but if they stop, I’ll never tell. I just want to live my life, and if that means ignoring why so many people think I’m crazy, so be it.
She’s the most silent storm I’ve ever witnessed.
Waylynn is as pretty as a picture, curvy, with hazel eyes that always seem to evade everyone’s gaze.
She’s been avoiding me since our first encounter, but fate intervenes and brings her right back to me...and my brother.
Now I need to know more.
Seeing Sound is the first book of the Tasting Madness series. This is a reverse-harem novel with adult themes and situations.

A lovely surprise
In the begin I thought I might not get into this book. I’m not sure if it was the story intro, or a lack of connection with Wayland’s voice narrator Vanessa. It’s not that her voice grated but I think the voice sounded too young, like a fourteen year old. Which kept making me focus on that rather than the story. Mind you if the story was more captivating, I might have had a more positive response to it. However, I don’t really think that was it because surprise! surprise, enter the Graylands and Jacobs sexy, honey, drewl worthy voice and I was hooked. So obviously, the voice of the narrator made a huge impact. Jacob’s voice is so much like Zachary Webster, who was the narrator of Fifty Shades of Grey - Christian Grey. I could listen to them read a phone book or dictionary. I’m not sure after listening to the first book if I would have continued listen, if not for Jacob as the story needs a lot more punch. Perhaps it will now build in the second book.

Love this!
I read this series before but wanted to check out the Audible version as well and wow, the voice acting is amazing in this. Especially Jacob Morgan!
Definitely worth the money spent!

***Wow***
A very refreshingly different take on the RH genre, our mc is different that she hears voices in her head and of course was diagnosed as a schitzophrenic ans was put on meds. anyway she actually met the voices in her head which is mind boggling ans make my head spin. Is.this a pnr or contemporary? Vanessa and Jacob are one of the best narrators in this business.

Generally awful
story line is very boring, nothing really happens, dialogue is cliche and clunky. male narrator sounds perpetually bored and makes it difficult to listen to
