Secret Crimes
Ok plot but did not enjoy the narrator at all. Was a bit monotonous and lacking intonation.

Third book in series another corker.
The Sophie Allen series of novels by Michael Hambling are most certainly addictive. When you start one, you know you are in for a good read and an enjoyable experience. You dont need to have read the earlier books. You can start with any in the series, but they are so good I would recommend you read them all.

Well performed although sometimes not very clear. Story held my interest right to the end.

Irritating
Feel like the whole story centred around endless lectures on woman's rights, sexism, and trans rights. All of those are completely valid (of course!!) but it got tiresome and the main character comes across as incredibly defensive. It would have been far better to get on with the story and skilfully weave those narratives in.
