Publisher's Summary
How well can you really know another person? And how far would you go to find out the truth about him or her?
When Julia learns her sister has been violently killed, she knows she must get to the bottom of things. Even if it means jeopardising her relationship with her husband and risking the safety of her son. Getting involved with a stranger online. Losing control. Perhaps losing everything.
Set in Paris and London, Second Life is about the double lives people lead--and the dark places in which they can end up. Tense and unrelenting, it is another brilliant novel from S.J. Watson.

Twists and turns
This was an up and down read for me. Absolutely loved it in parts then was frustrated. I did not like the main character Julia. She was quite pathetic. I wanted to know more about Hugh, her husband. Overall I am glad I stuck with the book. There were plenty of twists and turns.

Stick with it
Long and drawn out story, with a somewhat predictable storyline, but I enjoyed most of it.
Stick with it, the last 30 mins are worth it…
If it wasn’t for the other reviewers saying to stick with it, I probably wouldn’t have.

Not what I was thinking it was going to be
This book just feels like it is all about excuses and sex. I was expecting it to be about a murder and the solving of it. I have had to give up part way in to the second download as I just can't listen to the online sex anymore
