About this listen
Mike Lynch is going through hard times. But things get much worse when he witnesses a murder in a lay-by. Snatching the victim’s car in order to get away, Mike soon makes a shocking discovery - the victim’s young daughter and her nanny are hiding in the rear footwell. This is when the real trouble begins.
Mike wants to go to the police, but the nanny, Melissa, wants to delay until the daughter, Charlie, is somewhere safe. Who exactly was the man he saw murdered? And who is the man he saw pulling the trigger?
In a situation where nothing is what it seems, Mike will have to fight for his life to protect a woman and a child he doesn’t know. And when the death count rises, he will discover what kind of man he really is. When you can’t identify the victim, how can you find the killer?

Fantastic Novel
I love this from woe to go. The twist at the end I didn’t see coming. It was a complex story, well written, and well narrated. Definitely worth read/listen.

Escapism at its best
Tony J Forder is an excellent author. Yes, parts of this book are a teeny bit far-fetched, however it is exactly the type of escapism we all need occasionally.
The story flows at a good pace and you will find yourself not wanting to stop listening.
It is well written and well narrated. You will enjoy this book thoroughly and I highly recommend it.

A shocker
This story was full of repetition to pad it out. It was boring, unrealistic situations and full of unlikely and unlikeable characters.

Do not bother
A good premise and all downhill from there. Cringy main character very boy’s own meets some weird idea of sensitive new age. Other characters just cutouts. Laden with gaping plot holes, and we all love to suspend disbelief but as the story dragged along from hidden arms caches to legions of black clad special ops types popping out of the woodwork it became positively laughable - only not, because it was all so ponderous. Felt like it was written on the run. Glad I didn’t pay for it!
