Publisher's Summary

An Epic of Two Worlds

In a world as rich and real as our own, Richard Rahl and Kahlan Amnell stand against the ancient forces which besiege the New World - forces so terrible that when last they threatened, they could only be withstood by sealing off the Old World from whence they came. Now the barrier has been breached, and the New World is again beset by their evil power.

War and treachery plague the world, and only Richard and Kahlan can save it from an armageddon of unimaginable savagery and destruction.

In Blood of the Fold, Terry Goodkind, author of the brilliant bestsellers Wizard's First Rule and Stone of Tears, has created his most masterful epic yet, a sumptuous feast of magic and excitement replete with the wonders of his unique fantasy vision.

Too good to push pause

An enthralling journey across the new and old worlds with Richard and Kahlan, and their cohort of colourful characters. Masterfully narrated and totally captivating.

Thank you for taking me on the journey!

Great story continues, excellent narration.

This being the third book in the series the significance of this story is more in setting up premises and ensuring the 'players' are in the right place.

(Spoiler alert): Richard and Kaylen spend most of the time just trying to get back together, which they finally do by the end. However, in the meantime they separate from Zed who it's clear by the end, it's working off on his own tangent.
The sheer power and force of the danger emanating from Jagang and the Imperial Order just starts becoming clear.
All this, with obvious subplots along the way, sets us up nicely for the next book in the series. I can't wait!
Incidentally - the narration on this book is superb. I hope that the same narrator (Buck Schirner) is selected for the next book in the series.

Brilliant!

Again the story held me enthralled, this volume held many exciting twists, turns and adventures.
The reader was much easier to listen to than the last, a lot less automated and robot like.
Loved it from start to finish!
