Publisher's Summary
Scar Tissue far transcends the typical rock biography, because Anthony Kiedis is anything but a typical rock star. It is instead a searingly honest memoir - a compelling story of dedication and debauchery, of intrigue and integrity, of recklessness and redemption. It is a story that could only have come out of Hollywood.

Insightful read
Interesting insight into one man his band and his struggle with addiction. Would be interesting to have a catch up added to the book bringing it into 2016

Recommend
Good narrator (especially loved Fleas voice) interesting story, I found an easy listen. The last chapter was a little bit boring, but it needed a wrap up.

Chillie time
A really interesting audio. I had no idea that Anthony Kiedis was struggling so badly with addiction. An inspiring tale for individuals who struggle with addiction.

A fascinating insight to a musician's life
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was wonderful to learn how Anthony made his way to be a singer of one of the biggest Punk Rock groups in the world. How he portrays the trials and tribulations of drug use, falling in love very easily (and repeatedly) and how money doesn't always buy happiness.

Excellent
Must read for any music fan. Doesn't hold back in talking about the highs (pardon the pun) and lows.

Inspiring
There’s a lot of love and heart in this story and not many people who experience addiction the way Anthony has pull through. Its a tribute to the love he has in life. Much respect to anyone who takes this journey of sobriety, many thanks to you Anthony for reminding us all what’s important in life. Consta

Scarred by the experience
The beginning of the story is where this book is best. His upbringing and stories of how he found his way in life before finding Flea and then the Chilli Peppers is delivered well. The last few chapters were a great insight into the life of a drug addiction, although very tedious listening by the end. I guess this was his life so I shouldn't have expected much more.
