About this listen

Meet Noah - an A-honor-roll student, award-winning swimmer, and small-town star destined for greatness. There weren't any signs that something was wrong until the day he confesses to molesting little girls during swim-team practice. He's sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile sexual-rehabilitation center.

His mother, Adrianne, refuses to turn her back on him despite his horrific crimes, but her husband won't allow Noah back into their home. In a series of shocking and shattering revelations, Adrianne is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. Just how far will she go to protect her son?

Saving Noah challenges everything you think you know about teenage sexual offenders. It will keep you up at night long after you've finished, questioning beliefs you once thought were true.

Saving Noah

Short story with a twist at the end. The narrator let the story down in my opinion. The mother making excuses for her son saying he didn’t hurt them only touched them
Made me so mad !! Would she feel that way if someone had touched her daughter ?

Thoroughly good read!!

Thoroughly good read, full of twists & turns. Deals with a topic still considered taboo in society in respectful manner, and is incredibly well researched.

Good read

Short story but got me out off my reading slump. Was an interesting take on the taboo subject. I liked that it came from a different point of view. Was not expecting the twist at the end!

Great story, but average narration

It took me ages to get into this book because the poor narration was so distracting, but I persevered because the story was interesting.

Not what I expected

Lucinda handles a difficult subject very well, at times I thought it was going somewhere I couldn’t stomach, but she didn’t let it get quite there. The question of how this situation is handled in our society, rehabilitation for those who want to get better and so on, was also well handled and left me with lots of questions of my own.

However, I thought this would be a thriller or have some exciting twists and I feel quite misled. Overall by the end I generally felt quite sad and depressed, not what I was after.

I don’t recommend this book unless you’ve got a thick skin and no mental health problems as it’s a tough listen / read.

Held out until the end but can’t highly rate unfortunately.

Not what I was expecting, I was waiting for it to go somewhere which it didn’t. Interesting take on a sad topic which left me feeling depressed afterwards. I think the narration let it down too unfortunately.

Difficult to read, twist at the end.

Wow, what a story. The narration was hard to take but the story itself made you think hard about how you personally would react. I really felt for the mum, she loved her son. She protected him and supported him until the end. As for the father…..mmm.
A very good read about a terrible situation.

The style of writing and narration were all wrong

The teen-novel style writing and the infomercial style narration were so at odds with the dark subject matter that this was hard to listen to. I feel like a better author could have turned this story line into something gripping and soul-searching, but this was just awkward and creepy.
