Awesome
A human rights advocate is vilified by her corrupt country and marked for death. this is her remarkable life story.
courage, faith, love.
no bad language/ sex references. suitable for teens.
Just one loose end: we did not find out the truth about who her biological parents were.

Inspiring and Encouraging True Story!!!
This is an amazing true story. I was inspired by the faith that Virginia had in God in the midst of very difficult circumstances, in Communist Romania. It is also incredible how God used and worked through Virginia to defend churches, and lead other people to faith in Christ (including one Assassin 😉). I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Christianity, or Romanian history, or just wants to listen to a good true story!!!

Wonderful story of faith and forgiveness
I’ve always lived with freedoms others have never known. I’m challenged by this book to pray for the persecuted and to be prepared to stand for Christ no matter the cost.

Fascinating story
Really interesting story- all the more so because it is true. Well told and well read. There were some loose ends I would have liked tied up - ok it’s a true story so in real life the loose ends don’t always resolve, but I would like to have heard whatever happened with Aunt Cassandra - or least a mention at the end that she never did find out (if that’s the case). But overall this is an inspiring story that is very well worth a listen.
