It was ok
The story was ok. Performances were enjoyable. Overall it just felt flat for me but I can’t it my finger on it…. Maybe lack of chemistry and spice?

Simple story but enjoyable
It was a refreshing change where the characters were up front and honest with each other rather than so many where there are numerous misunderstandings and assumptions of what’s happening that keeps them apart until the end of the book. It was an enjoyable, easy listen.

Save your time
There isn't anything special about this book.
The storyline is average, the narration is average, the interest level is average. No major plot twists or ghastly surprises. Even the obligatory "roadblock" to happiness which is naturally overcome isn't earth shattering.

Predictable and raunchy
This is as predictable as rom cons get but the horrible bit while they’re estranged is short. One of the chapters is very raunchy.

Terrible
I’m pretty sure I’ve written a more exciting romance at the age of 12. Idk how this got published, must have been an inside job. The beginning was good which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. The rest was so bland. Nothing happens. It was an experience like eating mash potatoes with no salt or butter.
