Publisher's Summary
A new heart-pounding, suspenseful, and supremely romantic novel from New York Times best seller Mia Sheridan.
When wilderness guide Harper Ward is summoned to the small town sheriff's office in Helena Springs, Montana, to provide assistance on a case, she is shocked to find that their only suspect in the double murder investigation is a man described as a savage.
But the longer she watches the man known only as Lucas, on the station surveillance camera, the more intrigued she becomes. He certainly looks primitive with his unkempt appearance and animal skin attire, but she also sees intelligence in his eyes, sensitivity in his expression. Who is he? And how is it possible that he's lived alone in the forest since he was a small child?
As secrets begin to emerge, Harper is thrust into something bigger and more diabolical than she ever could have imagined. And standing right at the center of it all is Lucas. But is he truly the wild man he appears to be? A cold-blooded killer? An innocent victim? Or a perplexing mix of all three?
Harper must find out the answers to these questions, because the more time she spends with him, the more she risks losing her heart.

Incredible and moving romantic suspense
Phenomenal. Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Savaged is the story of waiting and hoping. Following two murders in a small town in Montana, Harper, a wilderness tourism guide, is called in to assist the sheriff. A man only described as savage is a potential lead in the case. He is a man of the wilderness, having been isolated from society for years.
Lucas does not have a last name. Lucas does not have many things, except for his survival instincts, intuition, and intelligence.
Secrets of the case and Lucas' history are uncovered, and Harper's own history once again rise to the surface. As Harper assists in the case, she delves into Lucas' life... and who he really is. Is he the savaged and uncivilised man people believe him to be? Or is he a man who has done his best to survive in overwhelming conditions stacked against him?
This novel, in the words of Harper and Jak: “This fills my soul. You . . . you fill my soul.”
“When did it happen? she wondered, trying to pinpoint the exact moment she had fallen. It should have been . . . momentous, wasn’t that true? But no, she realized dreamily, it hadn’t been one singular stopping of time. It was a beautiful string of moments, each one opening her heart to him little by little. And this was one. Watching Jak under the twinkling lights of his first Christmas tree, it was suddenly clear. Sometimes miracles—like love—arrived gently. Softly. Without fanfare. Without a lightning strike. For true miracles needed no such thing.”
A phenomenal story brought to life by the incredible performances of Christian Fox and Chelsea Hatfield. They truly made the story even more beautiful.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. I don’t want to say anything about it only that you must listen to this story. This may have just become my favourite book ever.
