i am so hooked
I've been listening to these stories back to back and about to buy the next one in the series. im so into it. I love having a male and female narrators and they are so good

loved it - downloading the next one now.
The narrators are excellent and very easy to listen to. He story is a very slow burn which I normally don't like but I'm really enjoying listening to the way the individual relationships unfold. Also the author has done very well building the mystery in this series.

lots of things are happening. with new lovers, criminal teachers, bad deals, new respect, traitors found, deals uncovered, magic stolen and blood spilled.
She has made a connection with her lion and an alliance with her Mate..
Now, if only she could figure out who killed her brother before her heart gets involved and get her Snake and Dragon to stop feuding.

Whiplash from narrators
I love this series - and this book hand me not wanting to put it down. But while both narrators are good on their own, it was so frustrating to have such massive swings between the characters’ voices each chapter. I really wish the publishers would either stick with a single narrator for the whole book, or do a fully dramatised version where at least each character’s voice is consistent. The changes, especially of the kings voices, changed their characters so much between chapters and gave me whiplash
