Publisher's Summary
Zane was driving home from work when the world changed.
Thousands of dungeons spawned at once, taking up every inch of Earth—including the road he’s driving on. He wakes up to a totaled car and a broken leg, facing down a goblin trying to spear him through the guts. And that's just the start of it.
But to Zane’s surprise, he finds himself enjoying this brutal new world. While others cower and hide, he goes on the hunt. He unlocks a unique Berserker skill—the more damage he takes, the stronger he gets.
Soon he’s beating down monster hordes, solo clearing dungeons, unlocking powerful Skills, and striking out to conquer more and more.
It turns out Zane was born to fight. And in this new world rife with terrible monsters and awesome powers alike, where opportunity is anyone’s for the taking, he’ll thrive.
An action-packed blend of LitRPG Apocalypse and Xianxia with 2 million views on Royalroad. Perfect for fans of Defiance of the Fall, The Primal Hunter, and Road to Mastery!

Enjoyable background story strange voice acting at times - Not bad and worth listening to
Liked how easy the story was to consume. Voice acting was weird for females, and alot of the secondary characters were made to sound whiny or like stereotypes from crappy American TV.

Good character development
Slow to start but then a great listen, the development of characters leaves you guessing who's coming and going at all times.

Phenomenal
A very interesting take on the “apocalypse game like system integration” I thoroughly enjoyed this book, Avery or whatever her name is nearly ruined the book for me but she wasn’t around for long thank goodness
All in all 10/10 and for a barbarian the man thinks and is a great MC

Boring MC, Mary Sue effect
MC is bland and all characters are quite 2 dimentional, no development of any character through the book.

Ehhhhhh. No real battle progression
Classic case of using a deep voiced narrator to save a plot.
Battles are less exciting than getting your teeth cleaned. Basically its "MC got mad, MC liked to battle, MC punched hard at an enemy. MC scared an enemy.
This isn't like primal hunter. This isn't like Defiance of the fall. This reads like a YA first attempt written by a 17 year old who wants to be a part of the industry.
