About this listen

Monday through Friday, Satomi works for the highly bureaucratic CoPet Corporation. She's the only girl in the male-dominated department of Lizard Children Containment. As a squire, her job is to help knights protect the public from Lizard Children. Lizard Children are a controversial technology that CoPet embraces as a means for 'safely' producing the nation's electricity. Every workday, Satomi is bullied by colleagues and belittled by superiors. Even worse, to keep her job she must silence her soul's true calling, because following it while working in a hierarchy like CoPet's is social suicide. But hey! In exchange, they give a hell-of-a-nice paycheck! And that's worth it.

Until, one Friday afternoon in March, a natural disaster strikes their island nation. Lethal Lizard Children escape and all of CoPet is powerless to stop them. Satomi sees society suddenly collapsing. But in this chaos and with not a moment to spare, the young woman must decide; has the pursuit of her lifelong passion been a curse or a blessing?
