About this listen
Sandstorm: Publisher's Pack 2 contains the final two books in the Sandstorm series!
Dustborn, Book 3:
Danger comes in many forms.
Tired, dirty, and sick, the Red Rock survivors eke out an existence on the Watchers' cliffs, hoping to avoid the monster. But life up high is almost as bad as life on the ground. Water is scarce, and no meal is guaranteed.
And deep inside the tunnels, a new threat is building, something that might consume them all....
War Torn, Book 4:
To survive or to die?
Facing threats in every direction, Neena, Kai, and the Right Cavers struggle to stay alive. Meanwhile, Bryan and his marchers confront The Abomination, while Raj endures a personal crisis.
Will anyone survive, or has the Red Rock colony reached its end?

It is worth the listen
I really like the world T.W Piperbrook creates in these books, his sence of survival in harsh lands is what has me wanting more. I got this after finishing The Ruins, which is amazing from start to finish! how you feel for the characters, their pain and suffering is not dragged out too long and just before you feel frustrated, BOOM redemption.
In saying that I'm hoping not to spoil anything but Sandstorm is the opposite. in my opinion After about 10 hours in books 3-4 the characters you are meant to love do not show any true strengths. After book 1-2 the character build I thought was ready. A leader needs to have some want to win rather than just compassion after so much suffering, they get bullied and tormented the whole story without a satisfying payback and it left me feeling frustrated pretty much the entire 3-4 books!
Scott Brick got me through it with his great narration.
I will continue to support T.W Piperbrook as his stories are a great listen regardless.

Echo’s of dune
A great fast moving novel set in a arid back ground where everything is short supply and tensions are high.

Slow, slow, slow
Talk about a slow story, droning on to build up a story excessively...did this author have a word count criteria before publishing😏

S O B O R I N G, T E D I O U S AND D U L L,
This was painful to listen to, it was so boring and tedious. I skipped though chapters and the characters were STILL in the middle of what ever they were doing 3 chapters ago. Oh My Goodness this was just so uneventful, and the main characters were such
spineless weasels, I found myself hoping the main characters would be killed off, just to end my pain.
I forced myself to listen, but even the narrator was boring and slow.
Sorry, but this story, in my opinion was GHASTLY.
