Publisher's Summary

A new world arises from the ashes of the old...but the fight for survival has only just begun.

In the day of the nomad, oceans flooded the continents and the Earth split open, pouring darkness into the skies. Jessica Rollins survived, but at what cost? The key to humanity's survival may lie in the backpack she recovered from her father, in data he collected more than 30 years before. Her father's final words circle around and around in her head. What does the data mean? Who is the mysterious Ufuk Erdogmus? And what is...sanctuary?

Main Character is simply awful.

This series features perhaps the most unlikeable main character I’ve ever encountered. The rest are poorly fleshed out, one dimensional characters who seem to fall in love with her despite the fact she has no empathy, is selfish and a sympathy grabber. Made it almost to the end of the second book, but it became more and more utter tripe as it went on.
