Best sailing audiobook I have ever listened
JK’s ‘Sailing a Serious Ocean’ is hands down the best sailing audiobook I have ever listened to. A perfect balance between very useful sailing technicalities mixed with geniously written (almost poetic) ocean stories. These two combined with Sean Runnette’s narrating makes this a true masterpiece for anyone intending to sail extended passages. Will certainly be reading all of JK’s books and highly recommend this piece of art! Thank you - Alex Zimmermann

Great book very captivating from start to finish
this book has made my son and myself start sailing . I love the adventures but most of all John's extensive knowledge of the storms and seas. If I had a chance I would make my way over to one of his voyages

Storys worth hearing
I listened to this while at work. It tells multiple different stories and is full of useful knowledge only gained from many years of experience and shear passion. Entertainment and informative.

exceptional writing
Informative, Emotional, Truthful and Sincere. A wonderful read. I am a novice sailer an will be considering sailing the world. The information i have gained has help me decide to do it
