About this listen
Get the first three books in the SEAL of Protection Series (plus the bonus novella, "Marrying Caroline") in a convenient package today. This series features tons of suspense and hot Navy SEALs.
Book 1: Protecting Caroline:
Find out how the NYT best-selling series got started. Caroline gets on a plane and never expects it to change her life... after helping to save the lives of everyone on board, she spends a few days with the Navy SEAL who was beside her every step of the way. Now the terrorists are after her...will Wolf and his team make it back to save her life?
Book 2: Protecting Alabama:
Abe meets the woman of his dreams in the middle of a raging fire. Alabama is damaged from her horrible childhood. See how Abe woos the woman for him and then how he screws it up. Can Alabama get past what Abe did? Can Abe make amends to Alabama?
Book 3: Protecting Fiona:
Fiona has been rescued after being kidnapped and held in Mexico. The SEAL team, with Hunter, aka “Cookie”, rescues her and brings her back to the States. She has some healing to do, and even though she's free, sometimes that isn't enough to keep the demons at bay.
Book 3.5, "Marrying Caroline" (novella):
Caroline and Wolf had a wild start to their relationship…plane hijacking, kidnapping, attempted drowning, and a terrorist plot foiled. Now things have calmed down and a wedding is in the works for the couple. By enlisting the help of Wolf’s teammate, Cookie, Caroline is immersed in plans for her dream wedding.
Of course, with their luck, things can never go off without a hitch.

really great to listen to
I absolutely enjoyed listening to these stories. They are exciting, intense and with romance built in absolutely lovely. I know that the ebooks are cheaper but nothing beats an exciting drama filled story that is read to you by a great narrator . Susan definately picked a winner when she chose stella bloom, I love the way she reads and gets into her characters.

Protective seals fall hard
When faced with adversity, these women proved that they were as tough as the SEALS who are supposed to be protecting them. From avoiding terrorist attacks and burning buildings to sex trafficking these stories are great and the narrative well done. Thoroughly enjoyed this production.

Great series start
I love the believable, relatable characters. The Seals are more like real people and the women are not over the top, they have flaws and issues but underlying strength. Recommend.

Disappointed in 2 out of 4 in this series
this series was obviously Ms Stoners earlier writings. I read The badge of honor series first and it was great and the mountain mercenaries series is even better.
The first book in this series was corny, and so repetitive I had to grit my teeth. If you didn't know the heroines name in the 1st sentence you will after that. Her name goes on an on.....
The second book wasn't anything mission orientated and as for Abe the navy seal...Ms Stoner wrote him to be an absolute shallow dick! Wasn't impressed with hero or heroine in this book.
Also I'm used to confident heroines not silly dont pay attention to me females. And it's hard to imagine an alpha seal seeing through a supposed nobody to their...chemistry.???..(which we dont get to know in book 1 as no sex scenes in there.)
Then in book 2, the 'don't notice me heroine' finds her grit and smarts..the flight or fight response goes from an expected flight to unexpected fight.
Which presents a great fantasy, but didn't convince me at all.
Now book 3 is brilliant. Even though the heroine is the 'don't notice me' girl....again, the mission plot was great and it gave me a good reason to like and admire her. But this is the 1st book I have EVER read that doesn't give us a description of the heroines visage. I dont know what she looks like (apart from being 5 foot 9) or the colour of her hair or eyes, it kinda leaves me with no picture in minds eye.
All that being said, I have to hand it to Ms Stoker as her writing only gets better than this and she is one of the few authors I've read more of than others.

Good story bad language
The story line was really good and I really like the way Stella Bloom performed. The only thing that bothered me to no end is how often the author used the Lords name in vain. She could have used another way of expression!!

Disappointed
The women in these stories were so timid and was very frustrating. Seemingly Navy Seals needed saving in each book. The same ongoing selflessness theme continued throughout all the books and became old pretty quick.
