About this listen
Gowns, castles, and crowns make for the perfect reflections. Yet life isn’t always as it appears. Illusions can distort visions, shadows still lurk in the sunshine, and monsters tread behind smiles and chivalrous facades.
Fairy tale dreams can turn to nightmares.
The world seems upside down to Duchess Lucille when the man she loathes, her husband, the duke of Monovia, changes before her eyes. No one else appears to notice the nuances of difference.
Has the duke transformed?
Were Lucille’s pleas answered?
Or has life as a royal become too much, transporting Lucille through the looking glass...where life is only a reflection?
From New York Times best-selling author Aleatha Romig comes a brand-new contemporary romantic-suspense series, Royal Reflections, set in the world of the royal elite, where things are not as they appear.

A bit underwhelmed
Aleatha is my most favourite author. I was somewhat disappointed to get to the end only to realise this wasn’t a standalone book. Usually, if I know it’s a series I wait until the last in the series is about to be released because I can’t stand the wait time between book releases - no reflection on Aleatha at all, just my inability to be patient. But I think I was most disappointed in the narration. I actually couldn’t wait to finish because listening to her was borderline painful. It feels like she was asked to read at a higher octave than what is her normal voice, quite painful to listen to, almost like she was ‘Princess and the Pea’ and she was sitting on a nail throughout her narration. Not sure how I will cope with listening through more books in the series with the same narrator.
