Twisted romance meets primal desires
The raw emotion and intention of the characters is narrated with a primal like sense. There is no choice but to empathize with the protagonists but with Rina's acute attention to detail, the background stands out just as clearly.
A great listen by itself as well as in sequence.

This was a great story to the final characters in this five. So enjoyed the twists and turns of this story. Just great.

A plot twist I didn't see coming
I just did not see that coming. Well written plot twist that kept me intrigued.
It was great to get the back story to Cole and Silver's relationship. It was clear there were deep feelings on both sides, and from the previous books,there was a lot of interaction between the two. This story brought that all into the light.
The epilogues really whetted my appetite for what the novella might have in store, getting me ready to continue with the Legacy series, of which I've read two books.
Once again, great audio performances by Shane East and Kiera Stevens.

Shane and Kiera will melt your earbuds!
Wow are they INTENSE. They say it’s the quiet ones you have to look out for, and there’s a reason why they call the Captain: Of The Four Horsemen of the Royal Elites Famine!
I love Cole, I mean: who doesn't love a Bookish Badboy? Poor Cole: Silver really made him earn it: I loved everything about their story and Rina really gave us the plot twist of all the plot twists....that will creep you the F out!
One of my favourite scenes, is when Silver is upset and blames Cole for barging into her life, and he responds with the most swoon-worthy declaration of love.
He lays bare his soul, confessing his obsession and adoration for Silver, declaring that she is his air, his reason for being. My heart breaks and melts for him as he pours out his feelings, while Silver continues to deny her own emotions.
Cole’s unwavering devotion to Silver is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming, as he sees through her facade and loves her for who she truly is.
And let’s not forget the incredible performances in the audio books?
My Favourite Brit, the legendary Shane East and the incredible Kiera Stevens bring Cole and Silver to life in a way that’s truly audio bliss perfection. The intensity and authenticity they bring to their performances combined with the chemistry of Cole and Silver, is EVERYTHING! Listening to Shane and Kiera as Cole and Silver is pure audio bliss and they do melt your earbuds in this one.
This Series lives in my soul and I can’t wait for God Of War where we get to know their daughter: the gorgeous Social Butterfly Ava Nash and Eli King
It’s going to be epic.

Painful to listen to
I'm in utter shock how well reviewed this book is and I haven't found one review that has felt the same way as me so take this with a grain of salt. I found the writing unrealistic, extremely misogynistic & just cringe. Can we not have a kink or M/s story without the women portrayed as weak, helpless, naive, tantrum-throwing and extremely co-dependent? Yet they're also super smart? The voice actors didn't distinguish each character well enough so I felt lost at times and their fake accents sounded comedic.
