Fun romp
This is sort of YA/New Adult hybrid. It's a great little adventure romp. Read by someone doing a British accent, so the words do have the odd strange inflection, 'Larshes' instead of 'Lashes' every now-and-then, but nothing bothersome and I thought the characterisation of voices was really well done by the female narrator. I enjoyed the narrative and the character arc - weird the heroine is so young, but I just kind of pretended she wasn't a teen!

I loved the world building, the characters just everything. This book had me hooked I loved every minute and couldn't put it down.

Just a bit blah
Bought this after a TikTok recommendation. It’s not bad, it’s just not great. Two and a half books in and hardly anything interesting has happened. Not sure I have another 16 hours of my life to dedicate to the rest.
