About this listen
A second chance, single dad rock star romance that can be listened to as a stand-alone.
A single father who lost his dream.
A broken rock star about to lose her career.
An epic second chance that will blow up an entire industry.
When acclaimed rock band Burn Card loses their lead singer to a solo career, band founder Liberty Blake fears she’s about to lose everything else as well. Forget the fact that he didn’t just betray the band - he also destroyed her heart.
Four years ago, talented front man Mason West was poised to explode onto the music scene. Until personal tragedy forced him to give everything up to care for his infant daughter.
With two worlds falling apart, a surprising offer could give a struggling single father a second chance and a broken rock star a new reason to believe.
Because maybe it’s not about falling down.
Maybe it’s about getting back up.

ok for light
first time read with this author and it intrigued me from chapter 1 with the past and present rolling out through the chapters. it gives you insight to the hero but still...o feel the emotional part of the storyline is choppy. some descriptions are heavy, gritty, and poignant at times but then the next chapter gives me airs that all is kinda gets pushed aside in to the lighter side of acceptance .
hot scenes aren't really hot, although innuendo is there. body description ...except for Mr hero is kinda not there. so I'm imagining in more places than not.
I just found it lacked gritty punch which you kinda need in %90 of the cutthroat music world.
J. bengtsson and CAKE, now that's an in your face gut wrenching rock book. and kylie Scott's stage dive series has awesome grit.
all in all it flowed and had some poignant words and moments.
can't say enough about Jacob...just sigh!!!💜💜💜💜 and first listen to Nadia...beautiful voice.
