About this listen

Rinkitink in Oz by L. Frank Baum presented by The Online Stage.

Prince Inga, aided by three magic pearls, is set to rule the island of Pingaree. King Rinkitink arrives with his talking goat, Bilbil, determined to take a vacation on Pingaree. Inga's father, King Kitticut, is captured by Regos' invaders along with all the rest of the people of Pingaree except for Rinkitink, Bilbil, and Inga himself. The trio sail to the island of Regos and easily overtake King Gos, who flees to the neighboring island of Coregos, ruled by the wicked Queen Cor. Tucking the pearls into his shoe for safe keeping, Inga and Rinkitink get some sleep at the palace but by morning, the shoes are gone. Back in Oz, Dorothy and the Wizard hear of these events and travel to the Nome Kingdom to offer help in restoring peace among all parties. This is the tenth book in the Oz series.
