Publisher's Summary
Vengeful assassins. A treacherous companion. T-Rex Head Hands.
After the Wolfman nation is shattered, Jaxon has enough spare time to advance his skills and specialize into a better class. Since Joe and his other teammates are either incapacitated or on a mission Jaxon does not believe in, the misunderstood chiropractor-turned-gamer strikes out on his own.
The issue with creating your own path is that you have no idea what awaits you, especially when low charisma guarantees legendary misunderstandings. For Jaxon, that’s half the fun.
Rexus is a Completionist Chronicles side quest focused on Jaxon and is meant to be heard following Regicide.

New Narrator was Great
The new Narrator did a pretty good job and I can see why Dakota chose him as a replacement. He did a good job of Jackson, if not less.so for Joe.
I'm not sure if I will continue following any of Dakota Krout's newer books though. The new Dungeon books portrayal of Dayle for instance just sounded wrong.
I can understand though that Vikas Adam's may have been unavailable. It's a great shame as he's what made me fall in love with the series, but that's business. I'll probably try the next book in This Series before deciding whether to consider continuing Dakota's other works.

A departure from the main character
Took a while to actually like Jackson, would have preferred continuation of main story. However laughed whole way through story!

hate narator changes
really irks me when they change narators mid series, just throws you off. Lukes voice for Jaxon isn't bad but the regular naration and his voices for the female characters arn't great.
going to finish the series cause I really like the premise but I really don't like the new narator.

The new narrator can’t do female voices
Another entertaining story by Krout, but Luke Daniels just isn’t as enjoyable to listen to as the previous narrator Vikas Adam.
Daniels has a great voice with most characters, very energetic and engaging... until he voices a female character. The female voices sound the same as male voices. I don’t even know the character speaking is female until the story references their gender. It’s very jarring and pulls me out of the immersion of the story when I realise the character I’m imaging as a male is actually female.

Worth it
Normally I don't get audio books that are less than 10 hours.
But this story was worth the perchased. And I don't regret it

Adjust!
Fairly entertaining side story. Keen to continue the main series now though! Jaxon is a bit more interesting now too.
