Buffy held the knife even tighter to Harrison’s neck.
“Tell me what you have done, or I will kill you here and now,” she demanded.
Fearing for his life, Harrison, for once, gave an honest answer. “I changed one number within the software for the bank robbery.”
Hesitating for a second she asked, “Which number, you bastard?”
He told her. She hesitated while the implications sank in.
“You idiot!" she yelled. "You'll set the world on fire!”
“Yep,” he replied. “Care to join me?”
Buffy hurried the point of the knife to his groin and pressed in. Should she just kill him now or give herself to a man she despises to enact cruel revenge on a world that had given her nothing?
