Publisher's Summary
Riley thought he knew what to expect from college, but he never planned for angels, demons, or a team of attractive, overprotective guardians.
When one fateful night opens his eyes to a world he never knew existed, Riley Shepard must navigate a host of supernatural dangers, all while struggling with new and confusing feelings for his guardian angels. With the promise of friends, family, and freedom finally within his grasp, he fears not only for his heart but for his life, as well.
Lucky for him, some things are worth dying for.
Revelations is the first book in the slow-burn harem/poly romance series Fire & Brimstone, featuring hurt/comfort, swoon-worthy guardian angels, sexual awakening, and an unlikely hero, too innocent for his own good.
Trigger warnings include: situations of homophobia (both external and internal), past child abuse, self-harm, mental health, and one instance (prologue) of nongraphic sexual assault.

Heavy and heartwrenching. Looking forward to more.
For such a slow paced story, it was gripping from start to finish. Heavy descriptions of past physical and emotional trauma throughout the book but, even with a lot of his reactions and thought processes similar to my own experiences, I did not find this story triggering or difficult to listen too.
I'm looking forward to the healing process he goes through in the rest of the serise as there is a wonderful start to it here.

Utter perfection, emotionally invested so quickly, a cinnamon roll and angels is a mix i didn't even know I needed!

This whole book feels like it should have been the first half of a book
Definitely slow burn they didn’t get together. The sexual assault was more graphic than the trigger warning implied. The three angels keep referring to each other as brothers and Riley is basically there son they kinda raised him it was weird. Idk if I liked it or not I have mixed feelings bc they have amazing chemistry it’s just the fact they kinda raised him and refer to each other as brothers. Nothing really happens plot wise Riley just keeps getting into traumatic situations.
