Perfect narration did justice to much loved characters

I read the first book but am so glad I listened to this one as the reader was able to bring my favourite characters alive. I was disappointed when the book was finished & can’t wait to read the next one.

A journey of emotions

Great picturesque story but also factual accounts of life under the Tailban. Narration was great changing the voice and accents to the character. Each character had a story that was worth listening to. Well done

It’s all in the details

Not as many interesting details as in book 1. Still, a passable read as sequels go. I’ll give some thought to if I want to read Book 3. I want a gutsier read with more historical facts thrown into the fiction…this seemed like Chick Lit to me. I also preferred the narrator in Book 1. To sum up, it was an OK listen, nothing more!
