majn character suddenly flush his lid

Started out fine but part way through a switch is flipped and the main character becomes a completely different person. he behaves and speaks completely differently even the way he curses changes (and intensifies. I don't need to hear the f word every sentence). The break of character ruined it for me.

Not Bernie Günter but it’s still a Philip Kerr

Not predictable and with a delicious irony

It took me a little while to get over the non Bernie Günter aspect but was well worth staying the distance
